<p>The HMS Rondo Alu Slide-Autolock Selfie Carabiner from AustriAlpin is a compact HMS carabiner with twist protection, extra hard anodizing and a highly innovative locking system: The Slide Autolock locks itself as soon as the gate engages. The karabiner can be opened by finger pressure on a brass slider embedded in the gate itself.</p><p>This eliminates the often annoying turning and pushing, which is normally necessary with self-locking karabiners - at the same time the karabiner does not open by itself, because the slider is virtually lowered into the gate itself.</p><p>Add to this the rope-friendly round design of the karabiner, the long service life thanks to extra hard anodizing and the compact format, and you have a truly user-friendly karabiner that is ideally suited for belaying.</p>
