<p>The women's Vertex Alpine GTX shoe from Arcteryx can be classified somewhere between a trail running shoe and a lightweight approach shoe. With its alpine orientation, it offers several advantages for quick, sport-oriented hikes with plenty of elevation gain and technical trail sections. This lightweight shoe skilfully combines robustness, protection, comfort, and grip&mdash;all at a low weight.<br>Thanks to the waterproof and breathable Gore-Tex&reg; membrane, the GTX version is also suitable for rainy and wet conditions.<br>The single-layer mesh upper material is made from 100% recycled polyester and offers well-known advantages: it is fast-drying, flexible, durable, and breathable. The upper optimally supports the membrane's functionality. Targeted reinforcements at the heel and toe cap, as well as a TPU film for excellent abrasion protection, help with this last point.<br>A comfortable fit, the well-balanced, strong cushioning of the midsole, and a cleverly designed lacing system ensure that you can still comfortably wear the Vertex Alpine GTX even after many kilometers and can also adjust it well while on the go.<br>With the unquestionably very non-slip and abrasion-resistant Vibram Megagrip outsole, you will also be efficient and safe on the road. Thanks to the flat profile in the toe area, the shoe also holds very well in rocky terrain.<br>Arcteryx products are only sold in retail quantities.
